This year DVELAS is going to present its new DHINGY tables family.
Every seating system needs auxiliary tables. DINGHY is a collection of holding tables designed with the same Marine Plywood and Sails Collection’s structure system and resin envelope with upcycled sails inside.
Dinghy means in nautical, small boat generally used as auxiliary ship of a larger ship.
In the framework of the collaboration in favor of sustainability between the ship Turn the Tide on Plastic and DVELAS, the Volvo Ocean Race organization has provided us with sails from the Abu Dhabi boat of the previous race for the design and marketing of furniture made with them.
A total of eight Navarre companies associated with the Habic Cluster participated in a commercial expedition to Mexico in November, in which they presented their products to more than a hundred professionals in the newly opened collaborative showroom in the exclusive CAD, the Center for Architecture and Design of Polanco in Mexico City.
A selected group of Spanish Habitat design brands participates, for the third year in a row, in a Seminar-Exhibition in Tokyo, organized with an eye on the next Olympic Games 2020.
The event, which aims to enhance the image of Spanish design for the habitat sector, facilitates contact between design companies and Japanese prescribers: architects, interior designers and contractors of public and residential buildings as well as importers and distributors.
DVELAS joins the event through our exclusive distributor in Japan, Gate Japan.

DVELAS shows in Surface&Interface exhibition its latest armchair graphically personalised with the new Virtual Melt digital printing technology.
The new armchair designed by Enrique Kahle architect has been printed with this new thechnology with a pattern created by the graphic designer Arraitz Koch through a proposed initiative of Valresa and Red.
Virtual Melt is a new technology from the Valencia-based firm Valresa. It was born through research and development with the goal of finding a new process for decorating wood with digital printing technology. It allows personalisation on any wood surface, be it flooring, cladding or pieces of furniture. On top, it integrates into the natural properties of the wood.
To mark the debut of Virtual Melt, Valresa proposed first-time collaborations between the visual arts, furniture design and interior design, to create personalised pieces and surfaces.
Commissioned by Manuel Lecuona, Professor of Design Management at the Universitat Politècnica de València, organized by Valresa and Red (Spanish Design Companies Association) ant the support of icex, the exhibition will take place at the Palazzo di Litta (Corso Magenta 24) in Brera Design District, Milano, next week (April 4th – 9th).
